Welcome! I am a licensed esthetician specializing in holistic esthetics. It is my pleasure to offer botanically-based, heart-centered skincare with an integrative approach using a variety of modalities and tools in Brevard County, Florida. Mindful Esthetics was created to provide an inclusive, age embracing space to share my love of skincare with the transparency and collaborative care everyone deserves.

My Philosophy:

My values and standards regarding esthetics are rooted in an integrated approach to support the body as a whole. The skin is our largest organ, as well as a powerful barrier to external factors, and is actively involved in governing our immune system. Our skin is here to serve us, to protect us, and to keep us safe. Without knowing it, and most often with good intention, we undermine and underrate our body’s natural ability to heal and restore itself. 

 The approach I take is a gentle one that comes from a place of love and acceptance. Nurturing the skin, rather than harsh treatments, will always lend to its long term health and vibrancy without compromising its integrity. Gua Sha, Facial Cupping, Massage, Microcurrent, gentle Exfoliants, when needed, and Energy Work are a few methods I use to curate your individual facial experience. 

I am here to assist you in caring for your skin through kindness, balanced care, and consistency with clean, conscientious products. I look forward to collaborating with you to move toward achieving your skincare goals.

My Background:

I have a lifelong appreciation for learning that is reflected through personal interests and studies that combine with my love of esthetics.

I hold several certifications in different, yet complementary fields in holistic lifestyle studies such as: Fundamentals of Herbalism, with detailed study of theory. This includes the application of traditional and therapeutic studies, including fieldwork. In conjunction with herbalism, I have completed courses in the use of Bach Flower Essences. One of my educational highlights has been completing the accredited signature Gua Sha Facial Fusion and Thai Herbal Poultice Facial Massage Training Program through CJB Beauty Secrets. Other courses and classes in subjects like body energy pathways and TCM facial mapping may lend different views into overall health. 

It is deeply important to me, as a trauma aware esthethican, that people know and feel that they are in a safe space while in my company. Also, I am a Reiki Master having received the necessary attunements and knowledge of Levels I - IV Usui Reiki Ryoho system of healing from the Florida Reiki Association for anyone in need of Energy Work.

I am a BII and BIA – ALCL advocate. I have spoken internationally about this subject, hosted by Oncology Training International for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, 2020. The topic of the webinar was: Oncology Aesthetics: Advanced Training Specific to Breast Cancer. My topic presented was: “Breast Implant Illness: Breast Implants and Their Complications.” My goal was to share personal experience, peer reviewed research, and knowledge to the esthetic community. This presentation provided information to professionals so they may be an inclusive support to as many people as possible, while providing skin care during all phases of life.

I look forward to continued personal and professional growth with the goal of helping as many as possible for our collective higher good.
